Are there any per-circuit or per-project fees?
No. CableSpec Pro does not charge per circuit, per project or per board. Your annual licence gives you access to the full professional platform with no restriction on the number of projects, boards or circuits you create.
What is the difference between CableSpec and CableSpec Pro?
CableSpec is the single-circuit BS7671 calculation tool - ideal for electrical contractors and engineers sizing individual circuits or managing projects with straightforward layouts. CableSpec Pro adds seven professional features built on top of the same calculation engine: a full distribution network hierarchy (boards, sub-mains, final circuits), accumulated voltage drop tracking from the supply origin, selectivity/discrimination advisory between upstream and downstream devices, bulk Excel import for large designs, hierarchical board schedules, an auto-generated single-line network diagram, and a REST API for Revit plugins and automation tools. All base CableSpec features are included in CableSpec Pro.
Is CableSpec Pro part of the Construct Software suite?
Yes. CableSpec Pro uses the same Construct Software identity system as SafetyCert, InterimReport, ETB, MTB and all other Construct Software products. If you already have a Construct Software account, once you have purchased a licence you can access CableSpec Pro directly from your Start dashboard without creating a new account.
